The proportions with known-sized objects and animals in the show consistently put ponies at about one meter tall.
There are larger ponies in the show, these wouldn't be ponies if the average show pony was the size of a real pony. |

Not to mention if that is Big Mac as the tags suggest, then he'd probably be bigger then the average human :P
