You know that fluffies really took over when you have to tag text as NOT fluffy related.

@SlayerBVC: I put it mostly from the fact it says some dumb thing, like the princess one talking about Peach and Zelda, it's made clear in lots of the game there IS a king in place we just don't see them most of the time, and others, and at the bottom the "no wings, no horn, no vote" part.

"The only royal action we've seen her take so far (...) has been to respond to her sister's loneliness by sealing her in the moon for 1,000 years"

Really? I mean... really? Seriously?

Never mind that her sister had become an evil monster who was going to cause eternal night, wich probably counts as genocide if such a thing in Equestria would naturally kill all the plants and eventually all the animals... the fact that she is selfless enough to put her own family aside for the good of her people seems to not be relevant at all...

People still can't get over that?

^I'm really put off by how much he chose to ignore about Earth Ponies.

How they were and still are largely responsible for farming and growing the food supply. Something that we are to infer pegasi and unicorns lack skill at (I suspect that most of Equestria's chefs are Earth Ponies or Unicorns though.)

Earth Ponies also have greater strength and endurance than the other races. And yet he doesn't mention that either.

And even his first point fails. Celestia is very likely aware of Blueblood's 'issues', and that there is no way in hell she would allow his flanks to ever touch the throne. And even then, he concludes that he's immortal, which we have no proof of whatsoever.

OP. Take your cynicsm and get the F*ck out.

I don't mean to start a shitstorm, but democracy is not exclusive of America (I asume the OP means the U.S.A. specifically), and bronies exist all around the world...

5: every politician is basically the same as the rest, unless they belong to a extreme group.
4: cutie marks show talents, not interest's/job's
3: im sue the people killed in hurricanes would prefer weather we could control
2: at any time a human bieng is no more then thirty foot from a animal capable of killing it, our monsters just look less... monstery
1: ok i dont get this one, are you complaining that they havent perfected genetic engineering to the pont they can switch bodys? cause you only get to be one type of human too.

Let's counter:

5] People who so thoroughly obsess over having "the vote" generally don't rightly know what to do with it.
Frankly, it's better to have the leadership as powerful and centralized as responsibly possible. Less time is spent blaming and scapegoat, more direct action, and a bloodline system allows successors to be properly trained and prepared (if it were needed here)
And if the leader is absolutely terrible, a coup will either remove him/her from power, or eliminate the dissidents.
Princess/Prince actually has been a working title for the leader of the nation. It's called a Principality.
I'm not mentioning the failure in logical for her performing of royal duties. I'll just say she DID deal personally head to Manehattan to help with the "infestation". Bush never even set foot in New Orleans during his presidency, all his press speeches on it was done somewhere else.

4] Cutie Marks are representations of Destiny/Fate. Snips + Snails have it the worst, but they could grow up into what is basically Jay + Silent Bob, who actually did pretty well for themselves, both in the movie and reality.

3] The world is MAGIC mofo! Controlled magic, the Princesses' control the heavens, and the mortals the world. You're complaining about being the master of the universe? Your loss.

2] The monsters very clearly don't like leaving the forest. Granny Smith point out, in fact, that Timber Wolves basically CAN'T leave it. They're elemental guardians of the Zap-Apple trees. The Manticore? He looked pretty friendly to me, just in pain and having a fit. Dragon? Dealt with, if they hadn't, Celestia clearly would have, seriously. Cerebus? He's on the payroll. Guard-dog. Sea Serpent? Highly cultured, he'd prolly come into town and shop, if he could. You're just being a bigot here. Iron Will is a monster (Minotaur!). Discord? Once in a thousand years issue.
Besides, if you don't want to live so close to Everfree, move out of Ponyville. Head to Canterlot, Appaloosa, Manehattan, Stalliongrad, whatever! It's a lot easier to leave the dangers of Ponyville than it is the dangers of Mexico City. By the way, 50 dead bodies on a highway. I don't think Ponyville has it that bad.

1] You only get to have 1 color. 1 Ethnicity. Want a big dick but not black? Too bad. Want to an a disposition towards higher intelligence but not Asian? Too bad.

Unicorns get magic, but we've seen they have very little muscle or mass.
Pegasi get wings and although althetic, can't have a sturdy build and still fly all that well. Big mass + thicker bones = tiny almost useless wings (YEAH!!)
Earths are not only way more numerous, but are capable of going Big Mac and dragging a house.

I have a preference, but I'd settle for any.

Monarchies and empires have almost always been more successful than democracies when they have a smart ruler. It's just that the people who inherit the throne are usually spoiled asses who ruin everything. Since Celestia appears to be immortal, we don't have to worry about someone like Blueblood taking over the throne, so the system is closer to perfect than anything on earth.

3 and 4 is true.
5: Dou you really think you decide what happens? Nobody gets what they want. No direction, no improvement, stupid american laws, etc.
2: At least in equestria you are not likely to get robbed and killed for your money, organs, or just for fun.
