If it helps, I have a rooted samsung admire with Android 2.3.6 and I've been using Opera Mobile, but I also have the paid version of Puffin. |

This is probably just slow page loading or a software issue (the web browser you're using).
Not Ponibooru's fault for sure. |

A search of Opera Mobile bugs was fruitless, and futile anyways since they apparently leave bugtracking to the community.
Possible suspects: in Android, apps are often kept idle, so that you can return to them. It is possible that the session isn't properly stored when leaving the app. Provide more information. Specifically, define flickering. Does it log u out while u stay on the page, or in between page loads? |

If I even just refresh the page I'm on, I could be logged out. If not for the new captchas, I'd be commenting/uploading as anon without knowing it.
@DM Know something about it,? |

Oh, actually, I used to have a problem with staying logged into Ponibooru with Opera whenever I visited numerous sites. Eventually an update solved that. Maybe you need to go into settings/privacy settings and turn on password settings? Or maybe even clear your cache/cookies.
Also, and this is unique to Ponibooru, if you change the sort of bandwidth you're using it'll log you out and in. For example, I noticed that when I lose my Wi-Fi strength and go back to WCDMA I become logged out. But as soon as I'm back on Wi-Fi, I log back in without needing to do anything. Perhaps you have a rotating IP or something? I'm not entirely sure. |

@busto:
The whistle was because I was the one that PM'd you about swapping to that browser in the first place... Sorry about hearing you're having issues with it. :( |

Do joke tags screw with the metadata? It's not a serious label. |

I'll erase cache, etc and see what happens but since it happens often, I already thought it was an address issue (I'm using the phone's 3G without WiFi). Also Im not sick of Opera, especially because of the tabbed browsing where Puffin stops at 9 and my default at 4 tabs. |

I have an idea, and it's kind of a long shot, and it ultimately depends on whether or not Ponibooru uses an IP address as part of how it remembers logged-in users. (This would explain DeeperMadness' being logged in or out depending on which network was in use.)
Some cellular providers seem to play fast and loose with the IP addresses that phones appear as to the outside Internet. My AT&T service is like this, and sites that geolocate my IP address think I do a fair bit of travelling. Maybe MetroPCS is doing that to you? You could use a site like http://touch.whatsmyip.org/ from the phone to see if the IP assigned to your phone's connection is changing. Otherwise, maybe try using Ponibooru from Android's stock Browser app (but you probably already tried this.) I apologize if I'm a complete idiot. Corrections are welcome! |
