They couldn't air it in the US then.
Also, I doubt many parents even outside the US would like it. Not to mention that it's too much of a political decision than a social one. |

They sort of did that with the Zecora episode I mean, you don't really want to explicitly come out with such a message in a kids show unless you want to be crusaded against by soccer moms and the media, also the show teaches more about friendship than anything, hence the name "friendship is magic" love and tolerance was just invented as a counter trolling device. |

Well the problem is how to do it. Perhaps if they do it that doesn't involve the Mane 6. If they do it to say RD, that would just be stereotyping the whole "rainbow + tomboy = lesbian" thing that she was originally attacked for. Hell, I think they are avoiding relationships for the mane 6 for a reason.
I guess if they went with Bon Bon + Lyra, sure I guess. Actually, meh, sounds too preachy. Plus if people got pissed at Derpy... what makes you think this will fly? |
