You know, for a guy who has never even spoken to any of them outside his sister, Big Mac gets a lot of action with the mane 6. I'd like to say that this is just another facet of bronies desire to pair up any and all characters with everyone else and that it makes no sense at all.

Honestly though I just prefer with Rainbow Dash.

Shippers gonna ship. It happens to any fandom, not just bronies.

^ Shippers gonna ship, but generally it requires some form of interaction. This is a fandom where two ponies standing next to each other is huge shipping fodder.

It requires only fantasy or imagination of some sort.

^ Yes, that's called crack shipping and that's fine, if a little silly the extremes bronies take it.

How is this considered a crack ship?

Still more plausible than Vinyl/Octavia. At least they are acquaintances.

^^ Because they've never spoken in show? Like the anon above me said, its not the crackiest of ships but really, any of the mane 6/mac is fairly implausible. Simple because they know of each other doesn't add any legitimacy.

Just because they have never spoken in the show doesn't mean they couldn't end up together. You also think about their personalities and how they would do together. This isn't a crack ship. It's just a ship

Actually shipping in the show is unlikely as it is, given the fact that it's a KID'S SHOW. If there was anything between the Mane 6 and Big Mac, they'd probably do it for humor or to show a lesson. But the makers aren't thinking about these things. They're sticking to the show's meaning: friendship.
