I'm thinking of doing an ask blog for Atlas and a few other characters my brother and I have developed, just as something to keep me drawing and keep the creative flow going. This here is a comparison chart for Atlas, I'm not sure what size I want him to be, and if I do the blog I'm going to need to figure that out.
So here's what I'm going to do. These are the three options I came up with, and I want you to tell me which you like best. I used Twilight, Big Mac, and Celestia as a reference scale, they are all drawn to correct size in relation to each other. First row is just a heavy build, more bulky than Big Mac but about the same height. Second row is about the same bulk as above but taller than Big Mac. Third row is basically just scaling the first row's bulk up with the height of the second row. The point to this isn't specifically to make him bigger than Big Mac, he just happens to be the biggest stallion in the show that I could get a scale on, so he makes a good comparison for size. |
