You have to do all that work to draw something so simple? |

A drawing guide that is actually kind of helpful?
What the fuck is the world coming to? Also, I never did understand the point of the circles. |

There is nothing simple about drawing 2D art. But keep thinking that. |

The head looks awful. Try harder. |

Looks better than some attempts at fluffy pony drawing. |

The body looks better than the one in the drawing guide I made, the face needs a little work though... it is also missing a mane. |

^^ 4chan expanded the universe and made it better. |

The point of circles is to make you actually understand that 2D art is about flattening 3D volumes. Once you get a little used to it, you don't need to draw the damn circles, of course. especially in such a tedious way. |

I don't think there's anything 'tedious' about drawing circles. Most art takes hours to perfect anyway. Drawing and redrawing is a part of the process, at least to me. I'm not one of those wizards who draws with ink, finishing the entire art in one go. Most artists aren't like that either. |

Yes, but ultimately, the goal is to become "fluent" enough to get rid of intermediary steps. |
