Is this a before or and after for abuse?

Watching spoilt brat fluffy animation for 10 seconds makes me want to pick it up by its tail and lock it in a dark "sowwy cwoset" for an hour.

That would only make the crying WORSE you know.

Of course then, by your logic, that would warrant killing it in an overly cruel manner.
Wouldn't it?

^Taking a pretty big leap there, Glord...locking a fluffy in "time out" for an hour hardly correlates to killing it in an overly cruel manner.

If a fluffy is throwing a temper tantrum you don't give it candy to make it happy. You do something to help it learn that the tantrum will make its situation worse. The closet is a good choice because you don't have to physically hurt fluffy...and the tantrum can continue (even intensify) without you having to listen to it. Eventually your fluffy will tire out and realize the tantrum did not achieve its goals and you have taken a big step in training a well behaved fluffy pony.

Aren't flufies supposed to be dumber than a human baby? Incapable of remembering negative experiences or some bullshit?

You're actually saying you're not one of the assholes that follows that fluffy design?

World must be coming to an end.

Bullshit would, in my humble opinion, be the correct word. I never bought into that idea. Fluffies may be dumb but I believe they can learn and remember experiences....good and bad.

So there IS someone else on this site who shares my views on the matter.

I also reject the ideas of;
-Memory resets
-Gliding fluffy pegasi
-Fluffy unicorn magic
-Large fluffy litters (over 3 foals)
-"Smarty-friends" being anything special (they're just the bossiest fluffy in a herd)

Of course, that's just my headcanon. I have no right to tell anyone else what they should write. I've read some really good stories that utilize those ideas which I don't believe myself.
If it's well written, you can sell anything.

What do you mean exactly by "gliding fluffy pegasi"?

And I assume by the one after that you don't like them to be able to use magic?

^Some authors write that fluffy pegasi can flap their wings hard enough to gain a few centimeters of lift...or spread their wings and glide down from high surfaces.

As for unicorns, some authors give them the ability to do simple levitation, or a few feeble magical sparks (Tartann has a story where two unicorns get into a fight and set his living room on fire).

I do not accept either idea. In my stuff, fluffy wings are useless and fluffy horns are just an ornament.

What I find controversial is heavily bloated dams giving birth to only one or two tiny foals... which I can see in stories sometimes. Seriously, the size scales just don't match.

the correct term then would be "hovering"

And yeah, to each their own, I really need to write down my views on the subject, so I don't forget.

Yeah, I guess I should add that to my list;
-Comically inflated mares.
Sure they'll get bigger while pregnant but the idea that they can't move on their own and have to be rolled around by other fluffies doesn't hold water with me.
It makes for some pretty funny art though.

in my head cannon the blaoting is to do with both the positioning of there womb and the fackt they put on wight to be able to produce alot of milk for there 2-5 foals.
they do get very fat, but not the near spherical of other story's.

As for over sized dams iin my head cannon the fluffies that got out where designed as biological toy factories to make enough fluffy ponies for an exspected huge christmas demand. The plan was to spade and nudder them all before sale and whatever animal lover nuts that broke the fluffies out caused a disaster. the idea was if you don't sell fluffy ponies that can bread they have to buy more.

Yeah, general headcannon is that the whole pregnancy swelling bit was the result of an unfinished product being released early.
