They think it's attention whoring.
I don't entirely disagree with them when it comes to projects like this but something as unprecedentedly large as bronies I think deserves a documentary. Also, John De Lancie. |

I also can see why many people dislike the aspect of a documentary and how it's just meant to inflate our egos, but really, anything with John De Lancie has to be entertaining or at least a bit interesting to see his point of view.

I don't think THIS particular project is attention whoring but I think that's where people who dislike the idea of it are coming from.
And as far as other projects go I meant things like the brony thank you project which I don't even take much issue with. It's just the feeling in the back of my mind that most people are contributing so they can say 'I'M A UNIQUE SNOWFLAKE BECAUSE I LIKE THIS CARTOON!" |

We already get lot of unwanted attetion from the rest of internet so this is more an attemp to be less targeted rather than something to get even more attention.
But this project won't work, anti-bronies would never want to see something where bronies don't look like idiots and bronies who will watch it already know themselve. |
