Poorly constructed sentence. And I'm not sure normal wild herd ratios bear it out either.

All the same, everyone please promise never to tell Fluttershy about traumatic insemination.

Pregnant mares (or any mares not in heat) reject stallions,

by kikking them as hard as possible, risking injury to the stallion

.
Nope.

Please tell me we're above that here. In real life, using the word "baby" is a commonly accepted practice. Online, it's an invitation to debate and the inevitable ad hominems and name-calling.

Yes. Horse mares. These are magical, talking, sentinent ponies with a moral code and a society based on law, not mention marriage.

In your face, real world logic!

I read it on Cracked via r/ClopClop. A (supposed) vet said it's bullshit.

Anyway, even if they share many physiological and psychological traits with actual equines (those guys have done a really good research), this one is jossed by S2E13 (Baby Cakes), where Mr. Cake obviously doubts about his paternity, but takes care of the babies. He's not even angry.

@084 yup

That's because he's a wimp.
