I suspect DDOS or a server malfunction with how bad this is.
It took four tries just to get this page to load. On some images, there was a "no data received" error, that's very bad. |

It almost always runs slow, but it's worse than usual AND goggle lists it as "may be compromised." |

Based on the Ponibooru Status Twitter, they're aware of the issues and working on trying to prevent the timeouts at least, so there most likely isn't much point in emailing them now unless it happens again after they fix it. |

Yes it is slow.
It took me 15 minutes to load this image and now I have read the comments, checked the twitter linked by SnowPhoenix I feel better; because at least is ain't just me. So now i'm just going to ramble on a little because it is the only post I'll make today it seems. Got to play Diablo 3 finally, didn't get a chance to enjoy it but it was still good. I did see some awesome art the few times i had pages up so I'm going to be faving a crap load tomorrow it seems. And i have run out of shit to type but don't want to waste this one post so have some gifs/images.

The twitter just updated. Apparently, the data was misread, and a 5x hitcount isn't the cause. |

You don't hav to be important, you just hav to hav some people with the right software and some support want your site down. The status twitter also hasn't mentioned SQL injection being ruled out. |

SQL Injection: you use whatever user input is available to put in commands that the database server then acts on if it's not setup to deal with it. This could cause the server to, for example, lookup every image at once a hundred times over, or delete every image, or add in a bunch of blank images. DDoS: spam the site with http requests. |
