You can also get Adblock on Firefox.

Or Opera. Or IE, even.

I really get the feeling that most Chrome and Firefox users are the sorts of people that only use their browser because they haven't really tried any other and want to go with what the majority of the Internet is saying is the best one. It's just one huge browser circlejerk.

^ makr hits the spot with his comment.

In my experience:
1. Chrome - not too bad, but it doesn't even has its own proxy list yet. Also, can't download for later installation from Webstore anymore. Also, too much Google

2. Firefox - never really liked it. Tried a few times, but the lack of the most basic functions and constant crashing keeps me away

3. Opera - almost everything I need my browser to be: stable, feature-rich, highly-customizable (also, can turn it into glass with Aero and appropriate skin)

4. IE is only good for enterprises, because of tight integration with Windows or something

As far as I know Firefox is the only browser that supports all the plugins I need.

^ Probably because it had support for them the longest. Chrome came around in 2008, Opera implemented extensions in 2010 or 2011.

The problem you're running up against is the fact that Firefox is completely made by its community, which means that all the bits and pieces that you need t make it run the way you want to are strewn about the web, instead of in one centralized location.

Or, we could just start commenting on fluffy pony works on the picture immediately prior to the actual fluffy pony work.

Is it really that big a deal? I just ignore it. There's honestly nothing there that I haven't already fapped to a thousand times.
