I'd love to see spinoff pony series. They could call it My Little Pony Equestrian Spinoff Tales.
Octavia and Vinyle could form an Odd Couple style thing. Carrot Top and Derpy would run like Perfect Strangers. Braeburn and stuff like this get your western stories. Lone Ranger, etc. You can start with Mare Do Well and build on that for your Avengers/Justice League I feel like there needs to be a Three's Company Too inspired pony deal, but I can't think of a good female duo that forms a decent triangle when you add any stallion to the mix. Snips and Snails are the obvious dumb and dumber / bill and ted style tales. If you throw spike into the mix, you could get some 3 stooges style interactions. It would be amusing to get Trixie and another stallion as some sort of Bewitched/I dream of Jeannie series. Obviously Bonbon and Lyra need something, but I'm not sure of what would fit them. I'm having the same trouble thinking of something for Gilda and Zecora, but they might fit into the super hero spinoff if that was capitalized on. |
