As far as I know alot of people still consider them parent and child. I don't think there's any new fanon though, and I think the whole "Muffin" nickname for Dinky was just based on the fact that Derpy loves muffins |

I still think that Derpy and Dinky are Fanon darlings on Ponibooru, but I definitely feel as if there isn't as much drive lately to create new art of the pair. It's been a heck of a year, and with Queen Chrysalis, Changelings and perhaps Lyra-Bon taking up a lot of Brony brainpower and artistic talent, Derpy and Dinky are merely taking a break out of he limelight for a while. |
