As I have notice on the last anti-spike pic about him bieng unmanly. The main problem with him still respect. In dragon quest, ponies admire the flying dragons but laught at spike.
Yet, this apron thing is the only ridiculous thing in this picture. I don't see the problem with the middle one, he look sarcastic for me, the bottom one is just childish and the right one look like some ''renaissance dandy'', nothing to be forever ashamed of. |

I seem to remember him attacking three larger enemies so that Rarity could escape in "A Dog and Pony Show". And if it wasn't a kid's show and he could have actually used his extremely sharp claws and teeth, he probably would have won. |

^ He would have mostly use fire, assuming it wouldn't just teleport them to celestia. And even if it does that, getting out of the royal castle would have been a hopeless fight for them.

What's wrong with being in touch with your feminine side? I mean, us bronies are enjoying a show for little girls. I'd say most of us at this point are in touch with our feminine side, just like spike. So he pretty much sums up the brony community: Tends to act, and be manly, but tends to enjoy girly things.
So let's not look down on him for this. Whether he's girly or not, he's still a pretty awesome character. |
