In theory: Bronies praising "love and tolerance" and being overall a nice fanbase that just enjoys a certain animated show with a sort of childish innocence they kept in their heart In reality: uatistic little manchildren who throw "love and tolerance" like a meaningless mantra when in fact enjoying gore- and clopfics, come up with grimdark as fuck mutilation and stalk every other fandom on the internet in order to infect as many as possible and don`t give other shows like Transformers Prime even a chance and berating CB as "too girly". While they have a point at the last thing, alone the fact that they don`t wait up till something has been up to actually criticize from a technical standpoint beside HUB being deluted, that says a lot of the fanbase. So in other words: Get standards bronies.

I am just the only one who thinks the following: Who are the bronies to condamn something "girly" when they start to call FiM the biggest thing in animation history since Disney, especially when they come up with some other stuff. Believe me, I hate CBs. The show is dumb and I laugh my ass off about this Robot Chicken sketch that explains how New Jersey is in fact Care Bear Land because even god had enough of the bullshit those cutsy wutsy abominations pulled up. thing is, if MLP was able to crawl out of the gutter thanks to someone actually giving a crap, who doesn`t say the same could not apply to that care for each other bull? Does that mean I think the actual latest attempt has a chance? HELL NO! In factt it is exactly what should not be done. And HUB should be ashamed to try and force a meme on others.

The premise of the show, the CGI animation of the article are primarily the factors I'm seeing in why people are rather wary. Those are my feelings at least.

Care Bears has always danced on the edge of "Awesome" in my opinion. I mean, they've had good villians, memorable characters, an interesting concept (Think about it, the care bears whole situation is symbiotic. Care-a-lot is effected by the feelings of people, and if WE aren't helped, the whole damn place crumbles to ruins killing every bear there is.) On the flip side, the villians are usually taken out for good eventually (Like with Coldheart), and the ones tough enough to live on have to be given idiot sidekicks (like No Heart and Beastly) Not saying the latter case is all that bad, I mean, No Heart was pretty damn badass and if a care bear stare hadn't been his kryptonite, he would have easily destroyed every ONE of those bears, and the rest of the problems that could possibly come up are due to writing... which lets face it is only a matter of finding the right person. I am a brony, AND a long-time care bears fan.

I don't think there are a lot of bronies that hate the show in general. I mean bears are generally an animal marketed to boys so the show would be gender ambiguous...I watched it when I was real young because...it was on! And it wasn't all that bad. Not as great as FIM but not bad. I think what's got most bronies upset is the idea that they think the new care bears is going to have the EXACT same success that FIM did.
