It's a light color and her mane is light, also the blonde = good stereotype exists. Plus she has a yellow coat.
Personally I don't think blonde fits her in most artwork. Brown would look better. |

Personally, I see a natural haired humanized Fluttershy having a light-brown hair-color, since we already have Applejack as a blonde. |

It goes with her blue eyes, I guess? It would sort of match the "quiet Scandinavian girl" archetype, but it could go the same way with black hair if she was portrayed as Japanese. As I understand it, an overwhelming majority in Japan thinks she's best pony because of how she acts. |
