The term "moe" is misused nowadays. It doesn't just mean "cute". As I understand it, it means the character has qualities that make you wanna protect it from anything bad, including your own lustful desires, and you just admire (from afar if necessary) but ideally you just wanna hug it. So I guess all ponies are moe... "Boke" and "tsukkomi" are the participants of the "manzai" style of comedy. Simply put, one is the foolish clown/prankster and the other is the one being constantly irritated. As in: -The hydra wasn't the doozy. -Huh? But I... WHAT!? The hydra wasn't the doozy?! How could it not be the doozy?! What could be doozier than that?! -Dunno, but it just wasn't it...

No one said the chart was perfect.
For example, there's no Loli Lover (as far as I know) in King of the Hill (I could be wrong. I haven't watched all episodes). BTW, the inclusion of the loli lover wasn't my idea (I found out today that the chart has been expanded), and the chart has been updated, but of course a lot of shows are missing. K-On! is here now, Dr, so be happy about that.  |
