Actually, make this show in 2D and replace the bears with ponies, then have the writers of FIM work on this. Care Ponies would be a great show. |

He said art style. Emphasis on "style". A game can be photorealistic and still have poor art style if the environments are monotone and vapid (assuming that's not the intended mood) |

The show is still almost a month away and it's already to a bad start. Three things I see that have the potential to doom this:
1. The animation; in my experience, full CGI shows are notorious to a corner-cutting and gimmicky production style. You can see above how the girl looks more like a toy than the giant plush bears. 2 the crew so far; One of the biggest things MLP had going was Lauren Faust's name. She was a experienced and beloved animator, and an intellingent and relevent modern feminist. Care Bears doesn't have anyone of that caliber that we know, anf if they did, we would have known that first. 3. The presentation; this is just like The Dark Age Of Comics, someone makes a cleverly written masterpiece in a novel way, the sponser knows they will never top it, so they willfully delude themselves into thinking the novelty traits are the selling point, and a whole ton of copycat crap drowns the buyers. We don't watch ponies cause it's childish and girly, we watch it cause it is a well written show. Learn the difference, it will save your Care Bears, but that might be too little too late, cause that header there is just plain insulting, and you can't take it back Hub. |

@Gitton Style and graphics are not the same.
For example Bastion has a really nice art style, but not high end graphics. You can't just ignore the art style when viewing an animation. |

If the animation didn't look like crap I might've given it a chance. Just take one look at that girl's wide, expressionless face and you'll know this show will bomb with everyone except maybe 2 year olds. |
