The jump from "meh show" to "worldwide phenomenon" came about because Faust took MLP in a new direction. Unless this new Care Bears does the same, it'll just be more of the same.
Honestly, as a kid, I liked Care Bears. But even then I knew they were pretty effing hokey. By today's standards, they'd have to jump a good 17/20 notches to not be. |

I loved Care Bears as a kid,and I'll probably give it a chance,but when you promote things like this,it more likely not going to happen.
And the fact that is in 3D isn't hepling. this generation of MLP aside from the merchandise,has good modern designs and a great staff behind it. Probably (and hopefully) this new version of Care Bears has at least the latter. |
