It always brings my heart joy to see these two drawn together, as many tend to overlook that they DO have a connection, but a much more subdued and subtle one than the rest. |

^ Hmm, agreed.
They have the least in common, and don't get along that well, but their is a strong connection between them that's very subtle. Rarity seems to 'get' Rainbow Dash's personality far better then others, and is incredibly grateful for Rainbow Dash defying reality to save her life. The key to a non-ooc relationship is an odd one for yuri...masculinity. Rarity would need to see the masculinity in Dash (not hard) and Rarity would need to trigger the masculine attraction to a lady within Dash (quite a bit harder). |

I think the only reason its 'rare' is because when they want to ship someone with Dash who is more... 'feminine' they go with Fluttershy When they want to ship Rarity with someone who will make her loosen up, they go with Applejack. Not to say I don't like those ships though... |
