I dunno, I've always thought that this ship is just ... boring. There's just no spark or humor or any of that present when they're paired together. |

^And even though they're supposedly "best friends" (even though Rarity has said the same thing about Twilight before at least), I get the feeling that the majority of their interaction consists of spa dates where Rarity pretty much talks the entire time, and Fluttershy just listens. Not that Rarity would consider that any less of a satisfactory friendship I'm sure. |
