Mendacity is looking really good. It's well written and very smart. I don't know what it is, but Bon Bon being a reformed Changeling sleeper-agent the entire time is rather touching. |

Ah, true enough. That's my mistake, thank you Littlecabbit. Sill, Bon Bon (or Mendax) is so well-characterized in that story. The author does such a good job at making the Changelings and the Unseelie Court seem alien and fae, in sharp contrast to how standardized, regimented and "normal" life Bon Bon tries so hard to maintain. |

Why is this head canon so appealing? Is it because Bon Bon has been underdeveloped as a character? It would actually make sense, in a meta-fictional sort of way, as a reason for why Bon Bon is alternatively portrayed as generic or irritable. She's a Changeling trying very hard to maintain her charade. |
