^^^@Anon644; I think most fluffy ponies have trouble remembering their own names...it's just an alien concept to them. There are a few notable expeptions (like Martini) but for the most part fluffy ponies refer to themselves and others as "fwuffy."
Lilac remembered Sandy because she made such a profound impact on her life...then spent the rest of her sad years obsessing on her loss. |

Ginger_Fig, excellent job handling the emotional impact of this story. I really like the way you presented the events to the readers without seeming like you had a personal agenda, which can't be taken for granted anymore. This feels much more like a story and much less like "so-and-so 's writing" if that makes any sense.
Also one of the real strengths of this piece is how well you conceptualize the progression of time. The chapter breaks serve that purpose well. And not to be redundant but the conclusion feels very conclusive which again really helps this feel like a fully realized, completed story. It would be great to see more of your writing in the future. Thanks for sharing it, and good luck with everything! |
