Dude, this is a fluffy pony abuse story. Wtf did you think was goin to happen? That they'd all live happily ever after?
Listen, they got IN, didn't they? Clearly they could move. But their Smarty Friend was just such a dick, he refused to leave. So they could have left, but had so much faith in their cowardly little leader that they can only blame him for getting them into such a situation
