The story was awesome, Dead Money made me tear up a little. Constantly hearing Vera's desperate last moments on loop up in the executive suites was almost unbearable.
But the gameplay... What the fuck, I nearly went insane. Fuck Dead Money. Fuck your casino! |

So I have these weaksauce weapons provided by the DLC, and very little ammo, and can't bring any of my gear with me, and these ghostpeople scale to my level, and I have to gib one of their limbs to make them stay down.
Also the outside is simply poisonous. I wasn't even going to think about playing Dead Money on Hardcore. |

^ The BAR fires .30-06 IRL. In the game it appears to fire .17HMR, just like every other firearm on the hardest difficulty. Bull. |

Loved Dead Money, personally. Challenging and suspenseful. Hoarding all the stims and food you can find, watching your health slip away from the cloud, dreading that sound of a damaged speaker. Not to mention a villain you will definitely grow to hate, and savour shooting him in the end. You'll definitely want to go there at an early level though, or the Ghost People will be too tough to kill easily. |
