@Phil I don't know about fannon, but Caramel was never indicated to be a member of the family in the show. Just someone working the fields during Winter Wrapup.

For Rarity, she is the hardest to please in terms of finding somepony. She has a good, if not fantasy view on love which makes most stallions a bad match. She needs somepony just as loving, but strong in order to make her feel secure. Believe it or not, Fancypants is the kind of stallion she needs. |

Rarity clearly needs to tweak her eharmony/match.com account. Or, ironically, get her friends to set her up with someone.
Barring that, just do what Twilight clearly did and hit up Canterlot. It's, what, a couple hours away by train? The commute to and from NYC is probably worse. |
