Is it any worse than Cupid shooting his arrows at someone? |
| NightJack #1397214 2 months ago |
All I;m saying is it's more to bring out what is already there, so not it's not. |
| Anonymous #1397217 2 months ago |
I just figured it workd by making them skip ahead to the make up sex. |

I took it that her talent is *true* love. She can't make ponies fall in love; she can just point it out to them, or remind them of it.
"Hey, guys. *This* is what you have. Are you going to waste it because of a stupid fight?" |
| Anonymous #1397219 2 months ago |
Actually her talent is along the lines of strengthening preexisting love. If you read the script, those two were arguing over trivial things, Cadence just made them calm down, realize how petty they were acting, and just be more affectionate together. |

@NightJack
it still seems wrong just because it's already there doesn't mean the anger isn't also there |
| Stampede #1397225 2 months ago |
Anyone else think that the spell Twilight used to break her friends out of Discord's spell is a variation on the spell Cadence uses?
After all, both involve reminding someone of those they care about |

@iliveunderyourbed Fixed. Would've been fixed earlier, but I forgot about the captcha. |
| NightJack #1397263 2 months ago |
@CottonTales: No it doesn't, by what I mean they already wanted to drop it and act like that. |
| NightJack #1397270 2 months ago |
I mean that they won't do what they don't already think of doing, if it was about the argument then all it would do was calm them down. |
| bboifatz #1397388 2 months ago |
The way I see it, Cadance does not make ponies fall in love. Clearly the two ponies that we saw were already a couple but were having a petty argument, and Cadance helped their love to overcome their disagreement. She helps love to spread and bloom, but she does not force it like with a love poison. |

@NightJack
I understand that I just don't like using magic like that when things could be settled in other ways It's more of I just have a personal problem with it |
| Anonymous #1398261 2 months ago |
Agreed with bboifatz |

Nope. It's like watering a plant to keep in nourished. Really, it's not hard to figure out. |
| I_Like_Your_Mane #1401137 2 months ago |
I don't care about the logistics of it. If she helps dispel arguments, then that's a good thing.
People argue about the pettiest, stupidest things out there. There's no 'working it out'. That is a much more of a fairy tale idea than Cadence alleviating them with magic. |

Cadance is the hero our fandom needs. |
