It'll be just like what happened to the Powerpuff Girls. Some websites will be abandoned, groups will split up, and people will talk about My Little Pony less and less. But it won't be forgotten, and even years later you'll still find lots of people who remember the show fondly. |

@Takuro_Shindou Naruto give little boys what they want: ninjas and violence. Lots of shows get long runs not because they are especially good, but because they are consistently mediocre or pander to the lowest common denominator. The problem with good shows is that they slip and become worse and worse or incredibly uneven, which causes fans to leave. It's the same reason big, dumb action films, special effects fests, and certain types of comedies get huge profits despite having mediocre to bad writing, cinematography, etc. compared to what a well written, well acted, thought provoking film will get. |

I won't mind of mlp ends in season 3,as long as the next 26 episodes would be as magical as season 1(didn't see season 2 yet)it will stay forever in my heart.
Inazuma Eleven GO unfortunally has come to an end in episode 47,but fortunally they're airing the sequence,IE GO 2 Chrono Stone. I don't know how much episodes this one's gonna have,but i'll love it and hug it until the end,just like mlp. Sure, it's going to end. All good shows do. But most of those are still fondly remembered by the people who watched them, and there always will be people who start watching the show long after it's stopped. I never saw Firefly, for example, but because of people claiming it to be awesome (and Tvtropes), I'm going to go watch a bunch of episodes, see if I like it. Did that for a lot of other series, including MLP: FIM. And for years after it's over, people will still be doing that. |

Well I'll certainly stay in the fandom. This has been such a wonderful journey, and it's still going strong. *shrugs* Plus, think about how long ponies have been around. It's not like FiM was the first. It could honestly just continue for a very long time. They might not use our current mane 6 if they decide to continue as long as pokemon (Though anon already mentioned pokemon lol) But like....if you also consider how well the toys are doing, I doubt Hasbro will want the project to end any time soon. As long as there's still a strong fandom and people are buying toys, it'll probably continue. |

I'd say the current MLP will last 6 seasons at the most until 4.5/5 comes out |
