In America our definitions for "niece" and "nephew" are too rigid. In most other parts of the world it's pretty easy to accept the idea that Blueblood and Cadance are Celestia and Luna's cousins several generations removed. |

well, IF faust is (according to fandom theory) the Mother of Celestia and Luna, then she could be something of a goddess. If indeed a diety, would there really be the need of a father? Could just have created the daughter which ended up being the great great etc. grandmother of Candence. Or something like that. |
