Apparently Hasbro has a copyright issue with Surprise, that's why we have Pinkie Pie.
I hope this Wonderbolt is never named in the show because she's Surprise in my headcanon. Unless she actually is named Surprise. then I'll explode. |

Gentle_Coltte_of_Leisure: Uh..."Likes pranks"? "Is Rainbow ash's childhood friend", maybe? Notice how she has a much gentiler expression than we'd normally picture her with, though. Sure there's the adult fans who believe she's got a sweeter side but overall, they are trying to make her more appealing to kids. Probably hoping they won't remember her as being a jumbo asshole when they go to ask Mom for the set. |

I'm curious to see what name they give Surprise. Maybe it's a good one and I think it's cool that we get another official name for a Wonderbolt. She isn't as populare as Lyra so I think more people will accept her new name. |
