Oh, tone down the Merriweather hate. The only really terrible episode she's done was The Mysterious Mare Do Well, and all but one of us hates that episode. I'm cool with everything else she's done. |

I guess they would wear a beach skirt, a large hat and sunglasses. twilight would bring a ridiculously over sized umbrella and spends the whole time reading in the shadow, rarity wont leave her super expensive beach towel. Rainbow wins the beach ball competition, and nothing can get AJ and pinkie out of the water. |

@JasonTheHuman: They've had plenty of frivolous spa scenes (which is a popular anime fanservice trope), so I would not be at all surprised if they have a beach episode. |

I loved Mysterious Mare Do well.
I hear so much bitching about how horribly RD was treated by her friends on that issue, but that only works when you give RD a completely clean slate and don't look at how she has acted over the course of every single other fucking episode. Humility isn't in her dictionary. Hell, dictionary wasn't even in her dictionary because she thought reading was for nerds. The point being, rainbowdash doesn't learn through lectures. You can TELL her she's being an egotistical ass as much as you want and she'll brush it off. You have to DEMONSTRATE to her that she's being an egotistical ass. Which her friends did right from the start because they recognize RD, flaws and all, and don't put her up on a pedestal like the majority of the MLP fanbase does. On top of that, Mysterious Mare Do Well was simply the other mane 6 getting to be superheroes too, and as long as RD DIDN'T have a huge complex over having the spotlight, then she wouldn't have had a problem with Mare Do Well at all. But back on topic. Rather than bathing suits, each of the ponies will likely just have floaties/innertubes/(full 60s era diving suit with big sphere helmet for Pinkie)/sailor outfit for Rarity. |

Mare Do Well in fact saved ponies + saved RD herself.
The bitching is just over the top. Not to mention Merriweather is an 'outsider' who came from Adventure Time and of course, more bitching. |

That's wrong. The vast majority of the fandom liked it or loved that episode. The select few who gripe over it are in the minority. Sorry, but it's true. |
