Yeah, 4kids is poison. Funimation might have sketchy dubs ever now and again but overall they're pretty good.
I'm still reeling over how bad they screwed up Sonic X. It's actually a decent series if you don't watch the 4kids version. Now lets all have some nice Jelly donuts! |

Four simple words, yet a concept that some folks cannot grasp. Simply using the tags and filters, some folks could avoid so much butthurt, unlike going to a convention and getting surrounded by Naruto fans. @Batshitpony, honestly, brony, I am not too hot on Team Fortress X MLP images but I respect the fans of MLP enough to avoid subject tags I don't like or post messages over and over again on why I dislike it. We get it, you and some others don't like One Piece. Fair enough. I respect your opinion. "To each, Their Own..." However, your statements repeated over and over again on each bad shopped One Piece image is making you seem like you are just looking for an excuse to bash the show. Move on to tags that appeal to you. I enjoy One Piece... I like the stories... I appreciate Eiichiro Oda unique style (it took some getting used too, but came to like his attention to detailed environments and large group battles)... I like his ability to write/create quirky characters that stand out and keep each and every character updated (continuity/hardly no one in the One Piece is a throw away character)... True it is a long series, but hey, if we complained of a series going too long why not complain about, the Simpsons, Scooby Doo, Batman, X-Men, Spider-man, hell, Pokemon? It is a rare thing for a show where goofy-looking characters can touch on some very tragic beginnings and NOT be emo or overly brooding (cough, cough, Sasuke or Shinji) and find the something like Friendship and Comradeship with others (both strong themes in both One Piece and MLP). But I digress, "To Each, Their Own"... Seriously, Be Respectful, Use Filters, Trollin' is played out... |

I read One Piece and Naruto. But I stopped watching Anime versions...it took the charm away! I also watch Adventure time :D and pre and WW2 cartoons. |

You guys are the more civil-minded and respectful members, here. You can acknowledge and critique images posted here on artistic merit and not based on the show or it's fanbase. And as a big Fluttershy & Chopper fan, I thank you. I prefer to lead by example, putting in some sample shopped images and having it fit into a common theme rather than slapping images together and posting, at least than I have some sense of pride in my work and open to suggestions and opinions to improve. Have nothing against those who dislike One Piece, but if you can't make a solid comment of the image itself outside "One Piece f***ing sux" then that opinion doesn't have any value IMO.

^Hence why they prefer to use the "anonymous" Authorship, no one wants to claim ownership for intentionally shitty-ass photoshopped images that has humorous value and only used to bash another show.
Hope, we photoshop editors and artists could get this much feedback on our own work rather than knee-jerked reactions to badly edited work here... |

That is an absolutely STUPID REASON to hate One Piece.
I only DISLIKE One Piece cause There are only a few truly likable and relatable characters, The animation is cringworthy, and faces are bigger then torsos..... And lets be honest with each other. Unless One Piece is your first and/or only anime, there are so many anime more worthy of your time and adoration. I respect your opinion One Piece fans, but I'd like you to tell me what you find so good about this anime that is quite mediocre in almost every aspect. |

CronoM, I mostly follow that manga and anime version so I have used to the creator's style because I like the creativeness of his imagination.
I have been following anime from Hellsing, Berserk, Ranma 1/2, Dragonball, GTO, Azumanga Diaoh, Macross franchise, Slayers and the like. But somehow One Piece just caught guard with quirky character with very human relatable backstories, true the art is not the strongest point, but seriously, Simpsons, rugrat, spongebob, regular show, adventure time and flapjack are not really well known for pretty line work or design like say Avatar: TLA or Young Justice. Frankly, I have to note One Piece has some serious excellent fan art and Movie 10: strong world has some of best animated scenes featuring the characters. While I like the art in Bleach and Hellsing, Oda of One Piece written his characters with a better history and personality than the standard shonen hero. Just my humble opinion. And the only place, where a speedo-wearing, cola-powered cyborg, a reindeer with medical training, and a musical skeleton with an Afro, makes more interesting stories than a sponge that lives in a pineapple under the sea. |
