@PonyGlue

Because this is a bad edit to a story.

If this is an edit, it's a pretty unimaginative one. Cutting fluffy's legs of with scissors for a minor transgression? Old hat, already seen it.
Also, who leaves a ball of yarn just lying around in the open? Basket that shit up.

I love how the foal can do nothing but squeal pathetically.

@FeralSocks018

Even the tags point out that it's an edit with the "Not all of it". That and I read the original.

And yes, I agree with the lack of imagination displayed here. Abuse needs to be written well to be worth reading, otherwise it's just repetitive pointless bullshit.

Eh, it's still superior in every way to almost all hugbox-stories, but the punishment is not the point in this story.

It's the foal's useless struggle to avoid punishment, while only making it worse because it's a stupid fluffy pony.

In fact, this story is a modern-age retelling of the stone of sisyphus... Nah, okay, now I'm exagerating.
But yes, it's about how the foal stands no chance.

@#1391067
And all of that which made it good was present in the original.

There just wasn't any bland punishment written in a different style at the end.

I'm not entirely sure what "Hugbox" stands for but I'll assume that means "Non-abuse". In my mind whether the story features abuse or not is pretty much irrelevant to if it's worth a read.

A well written entertaining story is just that. A poorly written bland one similarly is what it is.

No, the added ending where the owner cuts off its legs and makes the foals cry and whimper signifies the result of the fluffy foals struggle and failure.
Without it, the story would be pointless, boring, without anything worthwhile to read through.

@#1391102

Such an ending just seems pointless to me but if the lack of such punishment makes you find a story to be boring then so be it.

Of course it still makes you seem like the type of person who would like my post better if I added...

>Fluffy Pony dies

To the bottom of it.

kind of pointless I mean if your going to get a fluffy to abuse thats cool but if not dont fault a foal for being a foal sheesh

@#1391139

Which is why I find the original to be superior. It's logically consistent.

There is nothing logically consistent with fluffy ponies. Their only reason to exist is to be (ab-)used by humans however they deem it necessary. If it's cuddling or dismemberment, either way, the fluffy pony gets nothing to say in it.

@#1391178

The ponies themselves don't have to be consistent. You may note I didn't comment on them or whatever say they might have. They're imaginary animals. That and I happen to enjoy well-written abuse, which this is not.

I care more about the consistency of the story. In this case the abuse doesn't seem to fit into the narrative, being more of an alien intrusion to the story which just doesn't match up right.

Which is exactly what it is.

The ending made this story good. With a crying and mutilated fluffy pony foal, everything is good.
And should it defecate and piss around, it can be thrown in the kitchen sink and then replaced with a bunch of new ones for less than a dime.

@1391200: It's comments like that which make me want this entire "Fluffy abuse" subfandom eradicated. Do you people not realize how horrible you sound?

I don't care if they're entirely fictional creatures, you don't casually write off abuse and slaughter like that.

Fluffy got what it deserved. The edit's better than the original, but not by much. Because the original was pure unredeemable shit.

The owner has problem if he's that upset over a ball of yarn.

This is why I hate abuse stories, in a nutshell.
The fluffy messes up a ball of yarn. Reaction? Cut his legs off. Uh, okay. Who the hell would do that? The normal human reaction would be to be a.) pissed off to a lesser degree to b.) amused... somewhere in that range. The weird, extreme reactions of all of the abuse protagonists is very, very off-putting and just plain weird.
At least hugbox stories, while not all well-written, at least have understandable actions by the characters. Most humans, I think, would be kind to something small and helpless, not determined to cripple / torture / kill it.
If abuse is your thing, hey, go for it. It's a free internet, after all. But this kind of thing is why I'll never get into 'em.

Fluffy pony abuse is best abuse. It's even better if it's a foal that is suffering.

I'm suprised no one has written a fic where a abusefag applies the same logic to other animals. For example:

>fluffy pony poops on floor
> THAT BITCH
> CUT ITS LEGS OFF, TEAR IT APART WITH A CHAINSAW
> THAT'S FOR NOT INSTANTLY KNOWING NOT TO POOP ON THE FLOOR, BITCH
> get a dog
> dog poops on floor
> THAT BITCH
> HOW DARE THE ANIMAL KINGDOM NOT BEND TO YOUR EVERY WHIM
> CRUSH KILL DESTROY
> oh wait
> you would never do that
> because, um, dogs are superior to fluffies
> yeah, that's why
> it totally has nothing to do with the fact that abusing dogs is illegal and get you arrested, while abusing fluffies isn't
> eyup
> nothing whatsoever
> honest

> Cat gets tangled in yarn
> THAT BITCH

Now, fluffy ponies, that's something totally different.

Doesn't matter how you people think these stories are "sick", they're still much better than pointless cuddling.
