There're 3 ways to do torture and gore on stories.
1.- You can actually create a convincing story with deep character design and atmosphere, look at Silence of the Lambs and the Girl with the Dragon tattoo for good examples. 2.- You can go over the top and make fun of it, just grab annoying characters and lots of crazy effects. It's hilarious like Dead Alive or Dawn of the Dead. 3.- You can go lazy and just do these scenes for the shocking value. Like Hostel and the Fluffy pics on this site. Basically these pics are lazy on every aspect, and the artist behind it shows no signs of improvement. |

I think the stupidest thing about the Fluffy stories is the ridiculously flimsy justifications given for why torturing them is okay. People seem to hate them pointlessly, and will go to extreme lengths to hurt the things even if the fluffy hasn't done anything.
I read the stories; they can be funny (or well written if not comedy) when done right. Just don't pretend that torturing a thinking creature is somehow a good thing. Fluffies dying via stupidity is fine, pointlessly hurting them for no reason is just retarded. |

The only issue I have with the fluffy pony crap was that it was boring, badly written and childish crap when it first started. Unlike wine, age hasn't improved it and after the first few dozen or so I am still not developing a taste for them. When the author actually can write something that does not make me want to bang my head against a wall I'll be interested. |

Since Bronydom is associated with the Furry-fandom, we make a convenient and easily justifiable target for Trolls and Ass-Pained Anons. Hence the Fluffy-Pony Snuff Spam from Emotionally stunted youngsters looking to be internet Tough and to indulge and explore their Mal-adjusted, Anti-Social urges. Some of these People really should be pitied as it's clear that they are projecting some severe feelings of Powerless Anger at having been Mocked and Abused themselves in the Past.
