We call them Tacos because that is what their creators called them, and if we want to order them we have to say words their creators understand.

I do know that hispanic countries get ver buttmad about which food is called what. Ironically, many dishes are just tortillas, meat, cheese, and veggies anyway, just prepared differently. So they're literally just being picky about how the dish is prepared. |
