You know what really disturbs me? Is that this is completely plausible. There are very sick individuals out there that do this exact same thing to actual animals all the god damn time, you just never hear about it.

It lived thank god, but I don't think they ever found the culprit.

Perdón pero mi ingles no es bueno. En la vida real nunca haría algo así a un animal, solo en una persona que se lo mereciera. Pero no veo el caso de matarlos, se le quemo la pelusa y el fuego al mismo tiempo cauterizo la zona, así que puede sobrevivir, aunque lo mas posible que no volviera a caminar, es mas satisfactorio dejarlo vivo para que sufra, no solo el sino también su madre y su hermano, quizás no seria mucho lo que sobrevivieran los tres pero seria mas entretenido. Salvo que los atrapara y los maltratara constantemente pero sin dejarlos morir, pero eso es otra historia.

I don't think the hammer was necessary. Better to let the foal die slowly in his mummy's arms so they both can realize how useless her huggies are to stave off pain & death. As an added bonus, the surviving foal will witness the whole thing and lose his faith in mummy's ability to keep him safe from harm and heal his hurts with huggies.
