People are going to be people. You can't judge a fandom by what you first see. I like Half Life and its sequels very much. Yet a good portion of the fans are kinda arrogant. I'm fine with this because I know there will be more humble fans. If you let a fandom operate how you view them, then just ignore them. They're not going to plague the internet or whatever. Just relax and enjoy yourself. |

I won't fault him on his spelling. I typo all the time. So long as I can understand what's being said that's the only thing that's truly important to me.
That being said, I find the sentiment odd and hallow. In my experience I've met people who have been borderline bullies who have encouraged me to kill myself and mocked everything about me and those who are kind and helpful. We've got NOTHING to brag about and I despise bronies that try to brag about how good and/or kind our fandom is but I'm not sure we're any crueler than the majority of the internet. |

One thing is being a brony and enjoying a show about ponies. Other thing is being a bucket of friendship. Maybe you had a very very bad experience, but, if you really "love and tolerate", then you wouldn't write that. I, for example, tolerate, but I don't love everything. I tolerate furries, but don't love them. I tolerate fluffies, but don't love them. I tolerate hate art, but don't love it. I tolerate other bronies bashing me, but I don't love them. I simply ignore anything that isn't my fault, and go on. But well, whatever suits you. Also, what anon1383861 said. |

You can easily find examples of your grievances in any other fandom on the internet. And let me say it once again Love and Tolerate was meant to be a counter troll and nothing more. Not a motto that everyone is going to default to as soon as they become a fan of the show. There are those out there who are about Love and Tolerance but you can't expect to get it at every turn. |
