I picture Rumble to be a 'moderate daredevil' in that he will try something risky as long as it isn't likely to go terribly wrong. This means that he's stuck between willing and unwilling to go along with Scootaloo's more reckless stunts and ideas, but more often than not joins Scootaloo anyway due to his crush on her.
Meanwhile, Scootaloo is happy to meet a pony who has similar interests as she does, but doesn't realise that he's a bit more safety-orientated than her. Nonetheless, she kinda has a crush on him too, which makes her think up more and more stunts and sports to do so that she can invite him to try them out with her. |

That's an adorable idea, Mattatatta, and one which could plausibly be worked into the show itself.
We've always said how much Scoots deserves her own episode, and one in which she interacts with somepony she has a crush on is just too cute not to happen. |
