Takuta, back in the first season of digimon they didn't have a lot of info on stuff like the crests, it's only when Gennai, the only one at that point to even know how many there where that was still around, did they know about it, it wasn't adding out of nowhere as it was a mystery before that. |

No Takuto, before the main 6 he last one to use the elements was Celestia, and it was only with ALL of them she could banish Nightmare Moon, and before that her and Luna used them on Discord, once again using ALL of them.
To add a 7th is to retcon all of that. |

I she were to come back, I'd like it to be in an episode where the mane 6 go to Manehattan, and find her having a job as a showmare, but doing terribly because of her not-so-well-received boastfulness and actitude. They'd try to help her and she'd refuse at first, but after seeing how much she needs it, she'd agree.

Like in digimon 2 where ken had a crest,gennai only talked about 8 crests,but that doesn't prevent ken from having one,it was beyond gennai's knowledge. |

Most of these My Little Moral things are good for a laugh, this one especially, but I doubt they were meant to be taken seriously. It's like Faux News; take only a few key details from the episode and roll with it, fuck everything else that happened, even if the story would end up differently if you HAD taken the rest into account. As for RD in the episode and this Merriweather woman, I've yet to find anything to complain about. Characters' traits are often exaggerated in particular episodes, depending on the situation, so I wasn't surprised. Honestly, I don't think she was out of character at all. She just got a taste of fame, then it got out of hand. It happens all the time, on DOZENS of cartoons, but I don't hear anyone bitching about them. Everyone here is only bitching about all this because they feel entitled to this show, think it should be written for them. We're adults watching a kids' show; we're bound to notice the inconsistencies that will crop up. But instead of laughing about them and making jokes, we argue. Well, Y'ALL argue. I sit back and watch, muttering about how pointless arguing about ponies is. |

Something I would like to point out: When one of the fillies is asking for her autograph or something, she tells Rainbow Dash that she would like to be just like her. Rainbow Dash' reply? "Aim high, kid, but don't aim for the impossible". Consider how RD feels about the Wonderbolts, they are her heroes, she wants to be just like them if not better; how would RD feel if, as a filly, one of the Wonderbolts would have told her the same thing? Because RD may be for all these fillies what the Wonderbolts are for RD.
Not only that, but previously she says, and I quote: "This way, I can stay focused on performing those acts of bravery that nopony else has the guts to perform. Yep, it takes guts. But it also takes brains." At the Sugarcube Corner, the other ponies ARE NOT bragging, they are trying to drive the point home; that RD is not "the only one with the brains and the guts" to be a hero, anyone can be a hero in their own way. Twilight, for example, tells her that doing such a spell would take a lot of studing, something appropriately contrasting with RD. Fluttershy and Applejack mention the values of being kind and humble, and letting actions speak for themselves. Even Rarity, in a way, is doing her part; there are many ways to help, some less obvious than others, and having a talent like making dresses shouldn't be dismissed just because it's not obvious or even aparent at first. |

All I hear is butthurt rage from a RD fanboy that can't accept what happened on the show actually happened. And RD was stubborn in other episodes, too. That's basically one of her traits. All of her episodes are from her being stubborn in some way. How do you miss a a cartoon characters personalities so bad? It's written for kids, and you don't get it. Allot of you guys who keep saying that the rest of the mane 6 were being jerks to Rainbow seem to keep forgetting one important detail. They DID TELL RAINBOW SHE WAS GOING OVERBOARD WITH THE FAME, BUT SHE DIDN'T LISTEN!
They had to go through the Mare-Do-Well because Rainbow wouldn't listen to them. It was the only way she could learn. How can you guys not pay attention when her friends EXPLICITLY TOLD HER THAT SAVING PEOPLE COMES FIRST, APPRECIATING YOUR FAME COMES SECOND? |

Uhh, I don't know what episode you were watching, but I'm pretty sure they never actually told her that lesson until AFTER they had gone through all the trouble of making her feel like crap. And if you're referring to the line where Twilight was asking if she was hamming it up a bit too much, that doesn't count because at that point RD WAS being as awesome as she claimed to be, she had every right to brag about her accomplishments. Plus, there's a big problem with the fact that they TOLD her what to learn at the end, instead of having RD learn it for herself. |

The entire plot would have been justified if they had just told Dash to stop, and had her say "Hahaha fuck you guys you just jelli" or something along those lines. But they skipped directly to publicly humiliating her and making her feel like a failure, driving her to desperation and making her embarrass herself even more with the lengths she went to in order to look heroic. It ruined what could have been a fun episode, because they demonstrated an utter lack of faith in the element of loyalty itself, and showed that they are all terrible friends for being willing to humiliate one of their best friends for such petty reasons. Rainbow Dash wasn't hurting anyone- she was fucking saving lives, I think she was entitled to a bit of showboating. If they didn't like it they should have fucking said something instead using an elaborate scheme to devastate her reputation.
I appreciate the intended moral, but it was executed horribly. |
