That's not the only such problem: youtube_caption v. youtube_captions, nuzzle v. nuzzling, cadance v. cadence, etc. How does Danbooru deal with this? |

IF it's an image with just one, changeling, when it's more then one of them, changelings, so keep both. |

Changeling should always be used. Changelings would be an extra tag for use when it's more than one. That way, if we wanna see only images with one, we search "Changeling -changelings", whereas if we want to see those with more, we search "Changelings." |

Danbooru has far more mods and don't let anyone without an account upload or edit tags as well. |

The reason for using CHangeling even when there's more than one is so that we can search only "Changeling" to find all of them. |

Use the simplest form: Changeling
We don't tag images "Ponies" if there is more than one pony either. |

Notice how they tag "my little pony" AND "my little pony friendship is magic". The subset is accounted for, and people looking specifically for FIM can search for the latter. Ponibooru posts are full of junk tags anyhow, and it'd take a highly concentrated effort to get them all fixed. |
