It's sad, but I like it. Explains the origin of the 'zapping to reset' bit comes from.

Well done, Mayclore and Shaggy!

The first half of the experiment was actually tried with rats, if I recall correctly.

They were placed on a conveyer belt with food and everything they need, but underneath the mechanism was a pool of water; Everytime the rats fell asleep, the conveyer belt started to move and the rats were dunked into the water.
The experiment continued for about five days until all the rats had either died from exhaustion or drowned.

Great job, Mayclore. Explains quite a lot.

If you could rewrite a fluffy's behavior then couldn't you also get them to not be so death prone?

No, because they are inherently stupid. They do not understand that something might kill them, or what death even is. They will give hugs to rattlesnakes or puff up their cheeks to intimidate a train moving at top speed towards it or go bother the fluffy pony-hating neighbor with their mewling and shitting.

^ Sorry but your argument is made invalid by the simple fact I'm talking about behavior, it's not the same as intelligence.

So what if you reset a fluffy to hate Spaghetti, Love, and other Fluffy Ponies?
