I don't know about jingoistic. She's definitely a little more "southern" but has shown a complete willingness to learn from past mistakes and prejudices and, as a Texan, I can not say that's a common trait here.*

Yeah. It's pretty bad here sometimes. Of course, you can't paint everyone under a broad brush though. I live in West Texas and I'm A liberal socialist-leaning brony athiest. So.... it's not everyone. I have had the unfortunate displeasure of meeting a great deal of ignorant, racist, and homophic people here. It's rough sometimes. |

Well, I lived in California for many years and haven't spent my whole life here. Plus I'm a pretty big guy and even though I'm nice I think I give off an intimidating aura for some reason so people don't really mess with me too bad. It's frustrating that I have to see it/hear it everywhere I go but I'm rarely actually approached with such stupidity. So, it's not that bad. |

No. Not really at all. But, I'm currently not in great health and my family lives here. My one sister is autistic and has lots of health problems so I moved back with my family to help take care of them and to took a part time job as a care-provider with my medical training. I can stomach it here but I don't really like it at all.
