I don't know all the characters and never saw the Disney version but if that's Captain Phoebus, you should replace it with Blue Blood instead of Shining Armor.
According to wiki and the original story, Phoebus was shallow, superficial, self-centered, yet handsome so it would fit Blue Blood's profile better. I dunno how the Disney one went but I think Esmeralda died in the novel, killed/executed by the priest or something. Quasimodo was unable to save her but he did manage to kill the priest. |

^ OP: It's really more of a coincidence that Shining Armor was captain of the royal guard. I had been toying with this idea well before he was introduced, and my original idea did have Blue Blood as Phoebus. |
