I don't have a problem with furries either. I have a friend that's a furry, and she really the only person I can talk to about ponies. I just don't understand hate art like this... what's the point? Are they trying to convince people that they should hate it? If they are, why kind of weak willed puppet of a human would actually be convinced by it? |

Being part of both fandoms, I find art like this and it's reversal to be kinda pointless. Both fandoms are fairly similar:
1-Both fandoms have strong followings by dedicated fans. 2-Both fandoms have a large number of amazingly talented artists, writers, musicians, etc. 3-Both fandoms have endured a number of shitstorms, twisted media coverage, and the scorn of other fandoms. On the downside, both fandoms have their share of socially maladjusted ragers, white knights, pervs, and attention whores. I'm not gonna be an apologist- heaven knows I've drawn some pretty messed up crap in my day, and I also took part in some bandwagon nonsense in the 90's that I'd rather forget. I just kinda wish that the sniping will ease up in a couple years so that both fandoms can focus on their mutual enemy: Scientologists. ([/i]I'll get you, L. Ron Hubbard![/i]) |

"It was a commission" is a weak dodge of responsibility. If he didn't want to do it, he wouldn't have done it. Artists have been using this for years to claim they're not "into" any of the stuff they "have to" draw, but if you were only in the fandom for the money, you'd be an idiot. |

This type of thing puts you in a bad spot. On the one hand, it's hate-art. On the other, it's a bit nicely drawn hate art. To be fair, this doesn't deserve the amound of negative votes it's getting. |
