Needless to say the Trixie one was the only good one. IMO |

Too much continuity for the way the show works, but we're just shooting the shit here so whatever.
These are rather vague summaries so there's not much to talk about. I think it uses too many gimmicky ideas like time-loops and entering people's minds. |

I feel content in bashing any fan-generated theories for what Season 3 will open with, whether or not they sound like a good idea or not.
Mostly this has to do with the fact that people who make these up are overcomplicating things, and while at one point I would have hoped the "turn everyone into babies" episode would pan out, Baby Cakes would kind of make that redundant. |

Too much continuity, it will never happen. |

Yes, because rehashing antagonist for the third season isn't pandering and totally not fucking stupid. |

Stop, these ideas are terrible, and the people who work on the show are a hundred times more creative than to use any of your stupid ideas that you churn out. |

Needs more Grogar. That guy is metal as fuck.
Shit, if it was okay in the 80's it'll be perfectly fine now. |

Well, one episode is certainly not enough for Discord. It's a fucking crime that he was only around for a single episode (I consider two-parters to be a single episode, and I'm sure others agree).
And they're making so much goddamn money now that they could certainly afford to get de Lancie back. |

@574
Fan ideas can be awesome. Look at >>126392. These...not so much. |

Impious@1365598 said: Wouldn't bringing Discord back kinda make his previous episode null and void, then? It would kinda make that episode pointless. You can't have a villain that's more powerful than any of the cast. You would have to weaken him, but then the fans will start crying about that. |

As longas they rationalized it with "being imprisoned so soon after being freed took its toll on his power" or something perfectly logical like that, I don't think it would be too much of a problem.
I think a particularly sinister use for him would be for him to remain imprisoned, but still be able to influence the outside world. The bond the Mane 6 sealed him away with isn't nearly as strong as the one set in place by Luna and Celestia, allowing his chaotic influence to seep out and take root. ...That'd be pretty awesome, actually. |

Babies? Pfah, boring annoying shit. Just look at Baby Looney Tunes. Here's a better idea. Turn CELESTIA into a filly. Not her guards. Hijinks ensue.

I've been thinking of a story for about the last week or so:
Luna and Celestia are about to perform the first Total Eclipse in over 2000 years--- the previous one 1000 years ago didn't happen because of Luna's conversion into Nigthmare Moon. Luna still feels alot of guilt, the interrupted ritual a reminder of her corruption. They used to do this ritual to synchornise and 'reset' their powers, usually dumping alot of stored magic in the process. The day comes, but neither realises how much magic they've built up this past 2 millena, with the only real expendeture of their own power was Celestia's held-back tiff with Crysalis, and Nightmare's powers were not truly Luna's. They perform the ritual, but the overload of magic rips open a hole in space-time, sending Luna into what appears to be the past, shortly before Nightmare Moon's escape--- but, either by being in an alernate reality, or by accident of her interaction/interference, Nightmare wins the fight against the Mane 6. She'll have to confront her own inner demons, as well as the literal demon of the Nightmare herself, and looks upon it as a second chance to prove to herself that she is a good pony, worthy to lead and rule, and lay her guilt to rest. |
