When you think about it, we have so little to go one with extended family (apples excluded). The fact that she was the only other pony working on Rarity's fashion show does make me wonder how they know each other.

Before the eye reveal, I really liked the idea that Vinyl Scratch was secretly Rarity's twin sister who without the hair dye would look just like Rarity with a different cutie mark. I don't know why, it just amused me. |
