I wanted to enter something into the EQD logo contest, but I don’t think it’s good enough yet. Do you guys think it’s too crowded? Too boring and mate? EQD’s name is too small? Any constructive criticism would be appreciated, since tonight is the last day for submission.
Basically what’s going on is EQD puts out community content, which they get from bronies, which in turn helps them find their special talent as well as inspires other to fine there’s too, and thus they create community content and the cycle continues. I tried to cover most of the fan made materials in MLP-oldy-times form. Starting at 12 o-clock and going clockwise we have Story, 2D Art, Music, 3D Cloth Art (mostly plushies), Video (includes PMV, YTPMV, animation, etc), and 3D Sculpture (MLP customs would go under here as well). |

But seriously, it just looks a BIT silly with their flanks like that. Why just have it be the newspaper? Anyway, those are my brief thoughts. |

i think it's rather nice, it does seem a little close together (but not cluttered), just a little more spacing with the ones on the sides i think |

@Flamma: Yea I'm aware the plot is thick... I mean AHEM I can't have the whole pony as that wouldn't fit. The cutie marks are barely noticeable as it is. And the newspaper goes with the MLP-oldy-times theme. They don't have internet in Equestria.
@Yurp: The requirements are 1000x1000, and I shrunk it to 800x800 to fit the text. If I moved them out to the empty space I just created, then that's a big as there gunna get. If the pony booties are okay at this size, then I guess I could go through with it. Just have to GRAB EVERY SINGLE MAGIC STAR UGGURFL... |

Why not zoom in on the page instead? Having buttocks sticking out of your newspaper comes across as rather... silly. |
