Now, let's presume that genies or djiin did exist:
What asshole would make them exist to seemingly go out of their way to misunderstand the wishes? Assuming the variable ambiguity of english language, stating your wish should still have a 50/50, if not, A chance of being granted as intended, not always some "I want a bigger penis/ die of sudden extreme encephalized prapriapism" bullshit.
