I'm not gonna lie, I much preferred Luna's original appearance, size, voice and personality. Plus it set the scene for regular looking Cadence two whole seasons in advance.

What personality? She was on screen for two seconds

^^But what personality? She was in a two-second scene in one episode out of twenty-six. Tell me how there's a developed personality there. I'm honestly curious because out of all things you listed that's the only one that doesn't make sense to me.

I'll take stoic ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE socially awkward Princess of the Night over blushy shy emo girl.

...Woona is still fine though.

In response to "what personality?"; soft-spoken, apologenic shrinking violet. I prefer that to the overloud, exagerrated, stuffy mess they gave us for Halloween and the six-second cameos at season end.

Psychopomf, you realize that stoic means 'in control of emotions' right? Luna is far from emotionally controlled. Plus if either version is emo, it's season two Luna, after all, she has the darker color scheme and the 'doom and gloom' atmosphere.

Ok. If that's what you think then I respect your opinion. Why do you like it more than season 2 Luna?

961, I'm glad you asked so civilly. The main thing is I was part of a fairly big family, no privacy, no silence, everyone competing for attention, you know the deal. I also went out with this really show-offy 'look at me' girl starting freshman year, until things got sour. After I finished school, I kinda developed a distaste for the bigmouthed types, the class acts and the yellers who have to have all eyes and ears on them, and makes sure they are by being a pain on both. I prefer the wallflowers, the girls who are quiet and calm, who listen, who don't feel the need to cause a scene for the attention. Luna isn't like all that, I'm aware, and I still find her enjoyable, don't get me wrong, but it really felt like an extremely abrupt 180-turn to what we had a glimpse of in the premiere,and I never could roll with the turns.

^That's pretty interesting! And thanks for taking the time to provide some context for your feelings. That makes a lot of sense to me as well so I can see why you'd feel that way judging by your briefly-described history there. I just liked S2 Luna more because we saw more of her tbh. Plus it was a pretty abrupt change from the quick cameo in the pilot.

@025:

Reading this,I understand you better,but that doesn't change the fact that what we had in the premiere was,like you said,a glimpse of her.A glimpse that in no way determined how her personality is(given the circumstances).

Is Cadence wearing a yarmulke?
